From zero AI capability to a team that ships its own agents

Eyam Health didn't want to outsource their AI stack. They wanted to own it. A training-led engagement handed over the framework, then stepped back as their team started shipping.

The challenge

Eyam Health is a healthcare organization with real operational demands: grant research, secure integrations across clinical tooling, and a growing pile of repeatable workflows that leadership knew AI could help with. What they didn't want was a consultancy that showed up, built something shiny, and left them dependent on it.

Most AI consultancies are structured to stay. Eyam needed the opposite: a partner that would teach, hand over the keys, and get out of the way.

The approach

We designed a training-led engagement. Instead of building and delivering finished agents, every session put the Eyam team at the keyboard. We walked through agent design patterns, secure integration with their existing stack, and the framework for spotting which workflows to automate first.

The engagement focused on three capability areas: (1) building custom agents around their actual workflows, (2) running AI-assisted grant research at a pace their team could sustain, and (3) wiring secure integrations without shipping credentials into shadow IT. By the halfway point, Ryan's team was leading the sessions and we were coaching from the sidelines.

“Support Forge didn't do it for us — they made us part of the process. Before long, we were the ones building the agents, automating our own workflows, running grant research, and setting up secure integrations. They gave us the framework and the clarity, and then we seamlessly ran with it.”

The outcome

By the end of the engagement, Eyam Health wasn't a Support Forge dependency. They were an internal AI practice. The team was independently:

  • Building custom agents tuned to their own workflows
  • Automating repeatable internal operations without outside help
  • Running AI-assisted grant research as a recurring capability
  • Setting up secure integrations across their tooling stack

The engagement closed paid in full, with Eyam in a position to keep compounding returns on their AI investment long after we stepped back.

Why it worked

Two decisions made the difference. First: Ryan was clear from day one that self- sufficiency was the outcome — not a polished demo, not a shelfware product. That framing shaped every session. Second: we refused to take the keyboard. The work had to flow through Eyam's team, because that's the only way the capability actually transfers.

This is the shape of engagement Support Forge is designed for. The client walks away with ownership, not a bill.
